Framed Wildflowers

This design is stitched on hand dyed silk organza over cream trigger cloth giving a softly coloured background to a wonderful array of waratahs, Sturt's desert pea, gumnuts and blossoms, grevilleas, sweet scented wattle and prickly moses.  It is stitched with a mixture of rayon and silk threads and the waratahs have six wired, detached bracts.

Design Size: 24cm x 17cm

Alternating satin stitch, bullion knot,
French knot, stem stitch, satin stitch,
wrapped stem stitch, pistil stitch,
lazy daisy and
closed buttonhole stitch
